Lenovo Owned Motorola Gets Into The TV & Appliance Markets

Just when you thought Motorola was all about smartphones the Razr maker, has rolled out a range of appliances including washing machines and refrigerators as well as a smart TV range.

The new offering which will initially go on sale in India also includes air conditioners and all the new Motorola appliances have TruWi-Fi technology.

At this stage it’s not known whether the range will be launched in Australia.

In the new appliances range are five air conditioners that feature a twin rotary compressor, 5-speed fan with a 4-way swing.

They also dehumidify, auto, sleep, self-cleaning, and operate around 16-31-degree Celsius.

True WIFI helps users to control ACs via a smartphone app to set modes, change temp, schedule, and share it across devices. S

The refrigerators consist of three models with 507, 533, and 592L capacities, an LED touch panel and a water dispenser are also built in.

Motorola launched five models of washing machines with True WIFI, built in users can control options like wash modes, signal strength notifications, and get fault alerts. The company says clothes are washed at up to 80-degree Celsius to make them 99.9% bacteria-free.

In addition, Motorola also launched an Android TV range called Revou, and ZX2, they include HD, FHD, and 4K UHD models ranging in size to 65″.

All the Home appliances will go on sale from October 16 via Flipkart as a part of Big Billion Days sale.
