Klipsch Turns Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey Into A Limited-Edition Bluetooth Speaker
Klipsch has launched a limited-edition Bluetooth speaker tied to Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey.
The speaker has been created as official merchandise for the Universal Pictures film, with Klipsch and sister brand Onkyo named as exclusive promotional audio partners.
Only 2,500 units will be made worldwide, priced at US$499.99, or about A$765 before GST, shipping and any local retailer mark-ups. Australian availability has not yet been confirmed.
The speaker is based on Klipsch’s Music City Series Detroit, launched in 2023, but adds a design inspired by Odysseus’s sword, including battle-worn finishes, hand-distressed detailing and brass accents.

Klipsch’s speaker features dual 1-inch tweeters, dual 3-inch woofers and four passive radiators, with Klipsch claiming full-range sound from a portable form factor.
It also carries an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.
Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless connectivity up to 40 feet, while battery life is rated at more than 20 hours. It also supports 18W USB-C fast charging, reverse USB-C charging and app-based EQ control through Klipsch Connect Plus.

Broadcast Mode allows playback across more than 10 compatible Klipsch speakers.
It is not the first time a speaker brand has used a Hollywood release to push a limited-edition product. Samsung previously partnered with Universal Pictures on a Music Frame WICKED Edition wireless speaker for the 2024 film adaptation.
The Odyssey is written and directed by Nolan and stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron. It is released in Australian cinemas on July 16.
