British audio brand KEF has given its flagship Blade Meta floorstanding speakers a visual overhaul, introducing three high-gloss metallic finishes for 2025.

Available now across North and Latin America, the new options are available in Grigio, Garnet and Sapphire.

The Grigio finish offers a sleek, mid-silver tone, Garnet is a deep wine red, and Sapphire is a rich, glowing blue.

Each color includes tone-on-tone Uni-Q drivers, creating a unified, polished look that aligns with current furniture and interior trends.

KEF stresses that this update is purely aesthetic.

“Nothing’s changed under the hood,” the company confirmed, leaving the speakers’ acclaimed 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array and Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) untouched.

These technologies, introduced in 2022, reduce distortion and deliver precise, clean sound across both Blade One Meta and Blade Two Meta models.

The Blade One Meta, KEF’s larger model, features four 225mm force-cancelling bass drivers for full-range impact in big listening spaces.

The slightly smaller Blade Two Meta has 165mm bass drivers, designed for medium to large rooms while maintaining the brand’s signature clarity and immersive soundstage.

Pricing remains unchanged at US$34,999.98 (A$64,750) for the Blade One Meta and US$27,999.98 (A$51,700) for the Blade Two Met

KEF is also retaining several existing high-gloss finishes, including Piano Black/Copper, Piano Black/Grey, Racing Red/Grey and Arctic White/Champagne, while older matte shades like Frosted Blue/Bronze and Charcoal Grey variants have been phased out.

The new metallic finishes reflect a broader trend in high-end audio where style matters as much as sound, following similar updates from brands such as McIntosh.

KEF has yet to confirm if the refreshed Blade Meta colours will roll out in Australia and other regions.
