LG 27″ IPS WQHD is “Best Photo Monitor”

LG’s IPS ColourPrime monitor has been awarded the top prize by Technical Image Press Association, one of the most influential photographic press associations in the world.

LG’s In-Plane Switching (IPS) display produces high resolution and wide colour palette for ” true-to-life” colours. It has a 178-degree viewing angle and colour fidelity remains consistent, even at wide angles. It has colour depth of 8bit+FRC, 1.07B colours.
The LG says its 27″  IPS ColourPrime monitor WQHD (2560×1440) is good for filmmakers, photographers and other graphics pros.

The super light screen (weighs 7.3kg with stand), is able to accurately reproduce 99 percent of the Adobe RGB colour space. The  27″ monitor can also be rotated 90 degrees, so good for office environments.

Other specs of note include 4-Screen Split divides the display into four segments – handy for multiple viewing – which can then be arranged into a variety of configurations.
LG’s also decked out the Colouprime with clever ‘Dual Link-Up’ function, to work with files or programs from two different devices simultaneously.

Each ColourPrime monitor is factory calibrated and comes with a certificate confirming it has been fine-tuned by an LG imaging expert.
The award winning LG IPS ColourPrime (27EA83) is currently available for $999 RRP at Officeworks.
