Huawei HongmengOS Revealed Future Of OS Phones Questioned
The jury is still out on whether Australian owners of Huawei smartphones will get Android updates for their Huawei devices including the P30 P20, but what is assured is that the future for Huawei devices is the all new HongmengOS.
Designed by Huawei and launched as a replacement for the Google Android OS, it’s still not clear what devices will get the Chinese developed OS and related apps or whether anyone outside of China will take the risk of buying the Chinese Companies products featuring the HongmengOS.
Some observers claim that the Huawei Mate 30 Lite could be the first phone to make use of the Chinese company’s new Android alternative operating system with the device tipped to be shown at IFA 2019 in Berlin in September.
HongmengOS was revealed over the weekend at the Huawei Developer Conference.
Apparently HongmengOS has been in development some time but was fast-tracked considering the Huawei Android ban which is set to come into play shortly.
As we tipped recently Huawei is moving into the TV market with the Honor which is tipped to get an implementation of the OS.
The TV will have a pop-up camera onboard making it ideal for spying claims observers.
