Huawei Cuddles Up To Samsung For New P30 Components

First it was Apple who had to rely on Samsung for a lot of their iPhone technology, now Huawei is having to cuddle up to the Korean technology Company for their P30 and P30 Pro smartphones, that are set to be released in Paris later this month.

According to a new report, the P30 and P30 Pro will feature OLED displays made by Samsung.

In the past the Chinese phone maker has used Taiwanese Company BOE and LG Display for the display screens found in the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 20 Pro.

Huawei who are trying to topple Samsung in the same way that Apple did is now develop the foundations of a new business relationship with its rivals.

The P20 Pro featured Samsung-made OLED panels, and so did the Mate 20 X.

Smartphone manufacturers will tell you that Samsung’s OLEDs are the best in the business, and most other OEMs—Xiaomi and Apple, for example—use Samsung panels on their flagships smartphones.

Unlike the new Samsung Galaxy S10+ the OLED screens on the new Huawei device will be simple FHD+ OLED display screens for the simple reason that Samsung reserves its best QHD OLED panels for its own devices.

But for a price they will sell their top end screens something that Apple baulked at resulting in them moving to LG Display screens only to find that LG struggled to deliver the volumes that Apple needed for their latest top end iPhones.
