HMD Leak Indicates Lumia-Inspired Design For Upcoming Phone

There have been a number of smartphones launched by HMD over the last few weeks. From the Pulse+ Business phone and Aura which launched in May to its range of retro-inspired Nokia phones, there’s much that has come out recently from HMD.

ChannelNews has previously reported that the HMD Skyline is expected to launch this month and will have a Lumia-like design.

It will be one of at least five new Android phones from HMD including the HMD Pulse trio and the yet-to-be-confirmed HMD Atlas.

Now tipster @smashx_60 has shared images of another Lumia-like device (see above). The device features a notched camera and says “50MP OIS Camera” on the back – in comparison, the Skyline meanwhile is tipped to have a 108MP main module.

The new device will likely be powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB storage, reported GSM Arena.

The front will have a 6.67” OLED panel (FHD+, 120Hz), while the back features a 50MP OIS camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP camera too.

The phone will also feature a 4,900mAh battery with 33W charging.

The tipster hasn’t offered any information about the code name of the device, though it is expected to be offered in A$450 price range, while the Skyline will be available for approximately A$650. The Skyline’s higher price is warranted given that it is expected to have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
