Google Pixel 7 Prototype Listed On eBay, Photos Leaked
Real life photos of Googles upcoming smartphone, the Pixel 7, have been leaked following a prototype device being listed on eBay.
The photos suggest that the new device will feature the same flat AMOLED display and centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. On the back, the camera module is housed within an aluminium bar. The phone listed is a 128GB model in a ‘Stormy Black’ colour, which boasts a glossy finish that seems to be an absolute fingerprint magnet.
This is not the first time a Google Pixel prototype has been listed on eBay prior to the official release. A similar listing featuring a Google Pixel 6 prototype appeared on the site only weeks before the device became available for purchase. The Pixel 7 is due for release in this spring, meaning the listing has come at the perfect time.
The device listed features the prototype logo rather than the Google G logo, which differentiates it from a final device.
While specific specs aren’t listed, the device has power and volume buttons on the right side, a USB-C charging port on the bottom and a SIM slot on the left. However, Google seem to have ditched the headphone jack from the new device.
The new device is due for launch sometime in Spring this year. Pricing, availability and a specific release date is yet to be announced.
