The Company whose products are distributed in Australia by the once bankrupt Leisuretech and Ness has struggled to establish their brand in Australia. Among the people who have been given a pink slip is senior executive Walt Zerbe who Smarthouse dealt with at several US trade shows. The face of Russound Zerbe was a regular speak at CEA events such as the CES Show. He co-chair the CEA home Audio Division. Two other executives sacked Russound were Roger Soucy and Tom McCarthy who 12 months ago was named VP of product development for Russound. There has been no official statement from the Company re the sacking or how the Company is performing despite the Company laying off several marketing and product managers during the past 12 months.
