Four Paramount Board Members Tipped To Leave
Insider sources have claimed four members a part of Paramount Global’s board are expected to leave following talks the entertainment company will be merging with Skydance Media.
Earlier this month, sources revealed the board agreed to enter exclusive merger talks with Skydance, which is led by CEO David Ellison.
Said merger could result in Paramount being combined with Ellison’s independent media house. This media house is behind the films ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.’
Paramount has not commented on reports suggesting former Spotify executive Dawn Ostroff, Sony ex-president Nicole Seligman, Redstone attorney Rob Klieger, and veteran banking investment executive, Frederick Terrell, would step down in the coming weeks.

Nicole Seligman, Dawn Ostroff and Frederick Terrell are part of a special committee of independent directors, who have the task of pursuing the best deal for Paramount.
None of the four board members have commented on these reports either, however, if these departures prove true, it would reduce Paramount’s board to eight members.
Exits could be disclosed as soon as this week reportedly, in an SEC filing by Paramount.
In other news, the company’s shares declined 5% recently.
