EXCLUSIVE:Gag Order Issued After Founder Of Distribution CO Charged With Underage Sex Offences

ChannelNews has been served with an interim Gag Order issued by a Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning that prevents us from naming the founder and owner of a Brisbane based distribution Company who was last month charged with having under-age sex with a child under 16 years of age.

ChannelNews was not given the opportunity to defend the Gag Order.

The individual was charged by Queensland Police with three offences relating to the rape of a female under 16 years of age and ‘indecent treatment of girls under 16 years of age last nonth.

Information on the individual were supplied along with the charges by the Queensland Justice Department after the individual appeared in the Brisbane Court last month.

He is due to appear again in November 2023.

ChannelNews has since been approached by individuals in the industry and former employees of the business with other allegations relating to the individual.

The order does not prevent us from reporting the case or a a move to get the individual who has made the complaint to drop the complaint.
