EXCLUSIVE: New US TV & Appliance Range Launched In OZ
Seiki Digital a US appliance and TV manufacturer has moved to launch an extensive range of products in Australia.
Currently the retailer is selling online in Australia via Amazon and two appliance and CE retailers.
The Seiki product ranged on Amazon is being fulfilled by 2nds World.
Pronounced “SAY-key” the brand already has a strong presence in several Countries.
Established in 2004 the Company has managed to grow market share in USA, Canada via major retailers such as Walmart, and in 2014 the Company launch in the UK in partnership with Dixons, this move saw the brand gain significant share in the UK value market.
In Australia the brand is being distributed by AYONZ a distribution Company that was set up by former Tempo executive Ziad Yaacoub. He told ChannelNews that he is currently talking to several retails about the brand which offers a 3-year warranty on their UHD TV’s.
According to Yaacoub Seiki 4K Ultra HD TV was recognized and presented with the ninth annual POPULAR MECHANICS’ Breakthrough Awards as one of the top ten products setting benchmarks in design and engineering.
Seiki was also one of the first brand in the world in 2017 to launch Amazon Fire streaming technology integrated into one of their TV’s.
This technology allows them to deliver Over-the-Air Live TV Programming, Streaming TV Episodes and Movies, Music and Games, Voice Remote with Amazon Alexa Lets Customers Search Across More Than 100 Channels and Apps, Launch Content, Manage TV Settings, and Control Smart Home Devices and Access News, Weather, Sports Scores and More Using Just Their Voice.
Last year Seiki moved to launch an appliances range which is now being sold in the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany and now in Australia. Both Walmart and Amazon range Seiki appliance products.
Among the Seiki product offering are laundry, kitchen, refrigeration and air-conditioning products.
At IFA 2018 the Company will launch a full range of voice enabled products using both Alexa and Google Assistant technology.
