EXCLUSIVE: B&O Get Out Of TV’s New LG Tuned Soundbar Coming

Bang & Olufsen is believed to have cut a deal to partner with LG instead of coming into the TV market themselves.

ChannelNews understands that LG will launch a new 9 Series OLED TV next year that is tuned via a nee Codec to a Bang & Olufsen sound bar which is tipped to be released at CES 2019.

Several Bang & Olufsen dealers in Australia are now looking to range the German Loewe TV range in place of Bang & Olufsen TV’s according to dealers.

The Loewe range is set to undergo a major overhaul in 2019 with a “mass market” product range set to be released in Australia.

According to Indi Imports the Loewe distributor in Australia, the Company has “doubled” sales of the German TV range since they took over distribution.

ChannelNews understands that David Jones is expanding the stores that will sell Loewe products.
Sydney based specialist The Lifestyle store has stopped selling the Loewe TV range.
