Biggest Hi-Fi Trade Show Rescheduled

The coronavirus has forced most of the major trade shows in the consumer electronics industry to either go virtual or be rescheduled for the following year.

And High End Munich 2021, Europe’s biggest hi-fi trade show, is no exception.

The German show was due to take place in mid-May 2021, however it has been rescheduled for four months later in September 2021.

The new dates will now be from the 9th until the 12th of September.

“We are gaining four months, which will provide our clients from outside of Germany in particular with more time to reliably plan their participation”, says managing director Stefan Dreischärf.

“There’s every reason to believe that the effects of an immunization will be much more prominent in the late summer of 2021 than in May. We therefore expect that by then, virtually no more limitations will apply to international travel.

“We strongly believe that live trade shows are still absolutely essential for the audio industry and are doing everything possible to continue our success story.”

The registration deadline for exhibitors will now be end of March 2021.

Other consumer electronics trade shows such as CES 2021 and Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2021 have already been cancelled.
