Edifier has unveiled its latest desktop speaker, the Huazai New Cyber, and at first glance, you’d be forgiven for mistaking it for a high-end gaming PC.

The Bluetooth speaker features transparent casing, exposed electronics and swirling RGB lighting.

Inside the futuristic enclosure are decorative “components” designed to mimic the layout of a gaming towerm including faux RAM sticks, a graphics card–style power module, and RGB fans that actually spin through clever lighting animations.

A 2.8-inch display sits at the centre, capable of showing everything from custom wallpapers and song lyrics to real-time PC metrics like CPU, GPU and RAM usage when connected via USB.

The lower half of the unit hides the serious audio hardware.

The Cyber features a 4-inch subwoofer, two 52mm mid-high drivers and three passive radiators to boost low-end performance. Audio can be streamed via Bluetooth 6.0, USB, or aux input, making it suitable for both desktop and mobile setups.

Edifier has also given the speaker practical extras: a USB-A and USB-C port on the rear capable of delivering up to 35W charging, letting users top up their devices while enjoying their music or gaming.

Available in white or black, the Cyber fits right in with RGB-heavy gaming setups or minimalist workspaces looking for a statement piece.

Currently launched in China for CNY 1,499 (A$320), Edifier has not yet confirmed plans for an Australian or wider global release.
