Dicker Data Acquires Hills Security Division
Dicker Data has completed its acquisition of the Hills Security and IT division, with the company taking full ownership as of today.
Dicker paid A$19.35 million for the company, and will transition 130 of the Hills team members as well as assuming responsibility for a national network of nine trade centres. The division will be renamed as Dicker Data Access and Surveillance, or DAS.
Additional investments are being made from day one “to create a more compelling in-store experience that resonates with more customers and to prepare the branch network to scale up significantly,” the company announced.
The new division will be led by Chris Price, former Commercial Director of Dicker Data.
