David Jones Launch New Loyalty Program

David Jones has announced the nationwide launch of its new loyalty program called David Jones Rewards, taking on the likes of the Myer one program.

The department store retailer described its new program as “the future of retail loyalty” and an expansion of its 11-year partnership with American Express.

It includes offers, events and instantly redeemable rewards without minimum spend or points.

The new David Jones Rewards program operates like a traditional loyalty program, where members receive benefits for signing up to the program and shopping at the department store.

All existing David Jones customers will be welcomed to the program from today, with new members invited to join instore or online.

David Jones American Express card members will also be able to participate in the new program.

According to David Jones CEO Ian Moir, the new launch is a huge opportunity for the department store.

“The launch of David Jones Rewards marks a new and innovative direction for our loyalty offering,” Moir said.

“This is a significant opportunity for us to better engage with our customers and provide a stronger multichannel experience.”

“We believe our all-digital approach to David Jones Rewards is the future of retail loyalty, and we look forward to our customers joining us on this exciting journey.”

In place of traditional plastic card, David Jones Rewards members will be issued a digital Membership Barcode for instore purchases, which can be stored on any smartphone device via Apple Wallet, Google Play or the Stocard app.
