Singapore-based audio maker Creative Technology has unveiled its newest soundbar, the Creative Stage Pro, designed to deliver immersive sound in small spaces at a budget-friendly price.

The Stage Pro is a compact 2.1-channel system featuring a slim soundbar paired with a wired subwoofer, ideal for desktop setups or small living rooms.

At just under 22 inches wide, it fits neatly in front of monitors or TVs without cluttering space. The separate subwoofer tucks discreetly under desks.

Creative’s proprietary SuperWide technology creates a surprisingly expansive soundstage, making audio feel wider than the physical speaker.

This is complemented by Dolby Audio with Dolby Digital Plus, enhancing dialogue clarity and tonal balance for movies, games and music.

Two listening modes allow users to tailor audio to their environment. Near Field Mode optimises sound for close-range desktop use or gaming, while Far Field Mode fills a larger room with balanced sound.

Connectivity options include HDMI ARC with CEC for easy TV integration, Optical-in, AUX-in, USB audio input, and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming from mobile devices. The soundbar supports gaming consoles like PlayStation and Nintendo Switch through TV HDMI passthrough.

Compared to Creative’s earlier Stage 360 model, the Stage Pro offers a simpler HDMI input setup (one HDMI ARC vs three HDMI ports on the 360) but adds flexible USB and analog inputs.

The Creative Stage Pro is available now on Creative’s website for US$170 (A$290).
