Costco Removes Xbox Consoles
Costco has reportedly stopped listing Xbox consoles, games, and accessories on its website across both the US and UK with the Microsoft gaming product still listed in Australia at this stage.
Searches for Xbox products yield no results online, while offerings for PlayStation and Nintendo remain visible.
It’s not yet clear whether this removal is permanent, nor whether physical warehouse locations still stock Xbox gear. (Some customers have reported seeing Xbox gear in some US and UK stores, despite the online blackout.)
There has been no public statement from Costco explaining the change.
Likewise, Microsoft has previously denied speculation that it plans to withdraw entirely from the console hardware market.
Xbox Series X consoles and accessories are still listed for sale on Costco’s Australian website, suggesting the pullback may currently be limited to US and UK operations.
Whatever the reason, the delisting marks a major shift for Xbox’s retail visibility at one of the world’s largest warehouse chains.
It remains to be seen whether Xbox gear will soon return to Costco’s online storefronts in the US or UK, or if something bigger is going on.
