Aussie LG G3 Lollipop Rollout To Begin This WeekLG has advised Lollipop will land on the G3, beginning January 23, with users to progressively receive automated notifications to upgrade their software, should they wish, from this date.

LG anticipates the rollout will be completed by the end of February.

Users who do not receive the update, or who want to perform a manual check, can check for it by selecting the “Apps” icon from the home screen, then selecting “Settings”, selecting the “General” tab at the top of the screen, scrolling down and selecting the “About Phone” menu option, and selecting “Update Centre” and “Software Updates”.

From this menu users can see and select the Lollipop software upgrade.

LG advises users to download the software over Wi-Fi and when the phone battery is fully charged or plugged into power due to the size of the file and duration of download.
