ChiQ TV’s Impress At CES, Android, OLED, 8K

Changhong or as it is now known in Australia Chiq used CES 2019 to show off a new range of consumer TV’s which design wise was up there with some of the best TV’s shown

One of their new TV’s featured the Acoustic Surface back stand which delivers sound via the screen. Another model had a sleek looking soundbar built in under the TV.

And taking a leaf out of Samsung’s Frame offering Chiq now has an art TV.

Other TV’s in their range also came with Google’s Android TV software and built-in microphones for Google Assistant voice commands.

At this stage it’s not known which Chiq TV’s will be launched in Australia.

Virtually unknown outside of China, the brand is very big deal there with the brand competing head on with both TCL and Hisense. They also outperform Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic with Changhong and Hisense battling for the #1 slot in China.

The Changhong booth was big, showcasing not only the 65-inch 4K OLED sets shown here, but a 98-inch LCD design as well.
