CES 2022: Acer Refreshes Swift X Notebooks, Aspire Workstations

Acer has updated its ultra-portable Swift X line with new 14-inch and 16-inch models, as well as its Aspire C27 and C24 all-in-one workstations.

The new Swift X range features up to 12th-generation Intel Core processors, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050i laptop GPU in the 14-inch model and discrete Intel Arc graphics in the 16-inch model. Each runs Windows 11, features Wi-Fi 6E capability, and has a 16:10 aspect ratio screen with narrow bezels.

“The new 14- and 16-inch Swift X models unite efficiency, power and elegance in a thin, light and durable chassis with a 16:10 display that boasts up to a 92.22% screen-to-body ratio and up to 400-nit brightness,” the manufacturer said.

Also new from Acer are its updated Aspire C27 and C24 all-in-one workstations. Featuring Windows 11, 12th-generation Intel silicon, and Nvidia GeForce MX550 GPUs, as well as 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD and 2 TB HDD, the 27-inch and 24-inch workstations include connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and Thunderbolt 4. For videoconferencing, the workstations include a 5.0 MP webcam and two stereo microphones.

“As a final touch, this ultra-slim AIO delivers tidy and space-saving cable management, keeping the workspace free from distraction—and being finished in black with platinum details, the Aspire C27 and Aspire C24 look incredibly sharp, too,” said Acer.

Australian pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
