CES 2020: Harman Kardon Releases Cordless, Bluetooth Headphones
Harman Kardon has released three models of cordless, Bluetooth headphones for a CES 2020 debut.
The range of models – titled Fly TWS, FLY ANC and FLY BT – are priced between $150 and $250, depending on what model you choose and the features it comes with.
The most expensive model, the Fly ANC, are over-the-ear headphones with noise cancelling capabilities. They feature 40mm drivers and a customisable sound setting through the Harman Kardon Headphones app.
These headphones are equipped with a sleek, premium design and a leather-covered headband. Their 700mAh battery charges in less than two hours and is good for 20 hours of listening with ANC on, 30 hours without it.
The Fly TWS will sell for $150 and feature in-ear detection and touch controls, with rain and sweat resistance. The average battery lifespan is at least five hours of continuous use but comes along with a charging case, said to be capable of providing up to 15 hours more battery.
The most affordable model – the Fly BT model – have a thin cable running behind your back and a three-button remote on the left cord. The whole model weighs just 17.1g and is convenient for travel due to its small size.
Each bud also has a magnet to help them stay attached after use.
The Fly BT has 8.6mm drivers with an average battery life expected to last around eight hours of playback. With 10 minutes of charging adds another hour of listening time.
All three headphone models can summon your smartphones virtual assistant.
