Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled a high-end loudspeaker that pays tribute to the brand’s 45-year partnership with Abbey Road Studios in London.

Limited to just 140 pairs worldwide and priced at $100,000 in Australia, the 801 Abbey Road Limited Edition marks a milestone in one of the most iconic collaborations in audio and music history.

Based on the acclaimed 801 D4 Signature, the new edition blends Bowers & Wilkins’ engineering with visual elements inspired by Abbey Road’s interiors.

The speakers feature a Vintage Walnut cabinet and red Connolly leather accents, drawing from Studio Two’s control room and its signature furniture. A custom metal plate on each speaker identifies its limited-edition status.

Since 1980, Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers have been a fixture at Abbey Road, with six generations of the 800 Series used in the studios’ control rooms.

The original 801 was the first speaker embraced by Abbey Road’s engineers for its studio-level precision and high-fidelity reproduction.

Buyers of the speaker will receive a custom-made book chronicling the shared legacy of Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road, complete with rare photography and historical insights.
