Bang & Olufsen has announced partnerships with Apple and Google, as the number of speakers fitted with smart assistant such like the Google Assistant is on the rise.
B&O says this new partnership is to bring greater user interaction with its sound systems.
Recognising the shift to music streaming, the brand is activating voice control, using either the Google Assistant or Siri from Apple. It says it is now “conceptually working” on fitting Google Assistant into its products.
Apple AirPlay 2 for multiroom use is also incoming, joining voice operation via Siri on iPhone, Apple TV and HomePod. It says it will have10 products to update with the technology.
