BenQ Introduces eSports Monitor With High Refresh Rate

BenQ have announced a new high refresh rate monitor under their premium eSports brand ZOWIE.

The XL2540 eSports Monitor has a native refresh rate of 240Hz, providing an increase in smoothness that is highly desirable for competitive gaming.

“From its inception, ZOWIE has been dedicated to the development of e-Sports equipment to enable competitive gamers to play to the best of their abilities,” BenQ said in a statement.

When paired with a powerful gaming PC and a compatible game, the monitor can deliver content at up to 240fps. The monitor also includes core features of the ZOWIE brand, including Black eQualizer, which can brighten dark areas of a game without overexposing other areas.

“The BenQ ZOWIE XL Series has been adopted by most professional FPS eSports tournaments and players worldwide,” BenQ said.

BenQ’s XL2540 will be available in Australia from most official ZOWIE partners beginning in early December.
