Apple’s ‘Scary Fast’ Event For New Macs Coming Soon
Next week, Apple will showcase its new Macs at a “Scary Fast” event, with the launch likely to be its last for 2023.
Prior to the event, Bloomberg reported on the inventory of current high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and the iMac desktop had tapered off, which are usually signs that a product update is imminent.
The “Scary Fast” event name may have something to do with Halloween the next day but experts think the “Fast” may be pointing to Apple releasing a new M3 Mac chip, which should be faster than ever before if Apple planned accordingly.
If a new MacBook Pro is released, the most expensive product should have up to 40 graphics cores and 16 main processing cores. Whereas the M3 versions of the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air aren’t anticipated to release until 2024, Bloomberg reported.
As for other products, Apple has no plans to update its iPad line until spring next year and is working on improving the performance of its iPad mini, Air and basic models.
It is also planning to introduce a new iPad Pro with an OLED screen that matches the iPhone’s display quality.
With this event not being announced previously, experts imagine this showcase will be more substantial than a regular mini Apple event.
