Apple Offers Free In-Store Classes

Apple will begin offering a range of in-store educational sessions as part of a new program called “Today at Apple”.

The sessions, which will deal with a wide range of creative and technical topics using Apple products and software, will be available in all 495 Apple Stores worldwide.

“Highly-trained team members” will offer sessions ranging from basic topics, like shooting photos with an iPhone, to more complex sessions dealing with Apple’s professional software programs like Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X.

Kids will also be able to try out coding, creating music and making movies, with sessions also on offer to help parents and teachers incorporate technology into homes and classrooms.

“At the heart of every Apple Store is the desire to educate and inspire the communities we serve,” said Apple’s senior vice president of Retail Angela Ahrendts.

“‘Today at Apple’ is one of the ways we’re evolving our experience to better serve local customers and entrepreneurs. We’re creating a modern-day town square, where everyone is welcome in a space where the best of Apple comes together to connect with one another, discover a new passion, or take their skill to the next level. We think it will be a fun and enlightening experience for everyone who joins.”

The new programs are set to launch in May.
