Apple is looking to build the media content side of its business, and is currently one of the companies sniffing around Reese Witherspoon’s company Hello Sunshine – who produced hit series Big Little Lies and The Morning Show.
Bloomberg cites insiders, who claim the company could fetch upwards of $1 billion.
Although this would be an impressive get for Apple, it’s likely to face the level of scrutiny that Amazon’s recent $9 billion takeover of MGM has received.
