Amazon 4-star Debuts In The UK

Amazon has opened its first non-food store in the UK.

Called Amazon 4-star, the store situated in Bluewater shopping mall near Dartford will sell about 2,000 of Amazon most popular and best-rated products.

Each item placed inside the store has been given more than four stars by its customers.

This is the company’s first store outside of the US.

There are currently 30 Amazon 4-Star stores in the US.

The range of products sold at the store are books, consumer electronics, toys, games, and homeware.

Shoppers don’t need to have an Amazon account to be able to purchase from the physical store.

Customers will also be able to collect items ordered online and return them without the need for packaging and labels.

There is a “Most Wished For” section at the store showing the most popular products from customers’ wish lists.

The store will highlight digital price tags to ensure they remain the same in-store and online.

To date, Amazon has already opened six grocery convenience stores in the UK with checkout-free technology.
