Amazfit Launches In Australia As HYROX And Running Boom Drives Wearables Demand
Global wearable brand Amazfit has launched a dedicated Australian online store as parent company Zepp Health targets the local market for growth amid the booming popularity of HYROX and rising participation in long-distance running.
The Australian launch is being led by the Amazfit Active 3 Premium smartwatch and the screen-free Helio Strap.
Priced at A$239, the Active 3 Premium is aimed at new and developing runners and includes Zepp Coach adaptive training plans, health and recovery tracking, offline maps and turn-by-turn navigation.
The 45mm smartwatch features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display protected by sapphire glass, with peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

It also includes six-satellite positioning, automatic rerouting, 4GB of storage for maps and selected audio, Bluetooth calling and up to 12 days of battery life.
The watch monitors heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep quality and recovery using Amazfit’s internally developed BioTracker technology.
The A$166 Helio Strap takes a different approach, offering a lightweight and screen-free wearable designed to track fitness and recovery without displaying notifications or other distractions.
It can be worn on the wrist or upper arm and records heart-rate data every second, with the upper-arm position intended to improve reliability during high-intensity exercise.

The device also tracks heart-rate variability, sleep, blood oxygen, stress and BioCharge energy levels, while offering up to 10 days of battery life.
It supports 27 sports modes through the Zepp App, including dedicated HYROX functionality, and can provide estimated VO₂ max, training load, recovery time and training-effect data.
Amazfit is HYROX’s global wearable partner under a three-year agreement, with several of its devices including dedicated training and race modes.

The company says its core health, fitness and recovery features are available without a mandatory subscription.
Amazfit products can also connect with selected third-party platforms including Strava, TrainingPeaks, adidas Running and Komoot.
The brand, established in 2015, is available in more than 90 countries and claims to have sold more than 200 million devices globally.
