Aldi Unveils Dual Plate Rotisserie Oven For $79.99

German supermarket chain, ALDI, has unveiled a 34L dual-plate rotisserie oven for $79.99, as part of its Wednesday July 18th Special Buys sale.

Accompanying a one year warranty, the convection oven features two upper hotplates and incorporates stainless steel elements.

The rotisserie oven includes a 60 minute timer with automatic shut-off and a ‘ready bell’.

The device joins several other ‘winter appliances’ in the July 18th Special Buys sale – e.g. a 3-in-1 slow cooker and 4L multi cooker.

The news intensifies competition in the small appliance market, amid with major tech sales from Kogan.com and eBay Australia, ahead of Amazon’s Prime Day on July 16th.

Like all ALDI Special Buys sales, consumers are advised to get in quick, with the supermarket frequently criticised for insufficient supply.

Further information is available on ALDI’s website here.
