Adobe Firefly Goes Mobile with AI Image & Video Tools
Adobe has rolled out a mobile version of its AI-driven creative platform, Firefly, giving users access to image and video generation tools directly from their phones.
Available now on iOS and Android, the app brings features including text-to-image, text-to-video, Generative Fill, and Generative Expand to mobile users, with content syncing to Adobe Creative Cloud for continuity across devices.
The launch is part of a broader update to Adobe’s Firefly ecosystem, which now includes expanded support for third-party AI models from providers like OpenAI, Google, Runway, Pika, Luma AI, and Black Forest Labs.

Firefly Boards, a new web-based tool now in public beta, introduces AI-assisted moodboarding for teams.
The tool supports both images and video, allowing for collaborative concept development and AI-generated variations using text prompts. Teams can remix uploaded clips or generate new ones using models such as Google’s Veo 3 or Adobe’s Firefly Video Model.
Adobe says all AI-generated content from Firefly includes Content Credentials, aimed at improving transparency and attribution.
The Firefly app adds to Adobe’s growing suite of mobile creative tools and reflects an industry-wide push to bring generative AI features into real-time, on-the-go workflows.
While it offers tight integration with Creative Cloud, Firefly can also be used as a standalone tool for fast ideation and prototyping.
Firefly mobile is available now via the App Store and Google Play. Firefly Boards can be accessed in beta through the Firefly web app.
