Fans will be able to access content and experiences through the Telstra Thanks program and “increased social media integration,” whatever that may mean, according to Telstra CEO Andrew Penn.
Telstra will also offer customers game highlights and replays of all regular season and finals matches on the big screen through its IPTV platforms, including Telstra TV. It also plans to include an official NRL app on Telstra TV in early 2016.
