LG Move To Sponsor Cricket
From next week, LG, a major global partner of the 2015 World Cup, will be running an online competition, with parents or guardians of participating children to be asked why, in 25 words or less, they think their child should be a part of the program.
The winners will each receive two general admission tickets, while their child will have the opportunity to “meet some of the biggest names in cricket during one of the world’s biggest and most highly anticipated sporting tournaments”,walking out onto the pitch hand-in-hand with players from both
teams for the national anthems for each game held in Australia.
“Cricket is a summer institution in Australia, and if my kids are anything to go by I’m sure there will be an influx of entries by excited fans,” commented Lambro Skropidis, LG Electronics Australia general manager marketing.
Starting next week, cricket fans will be able to enter via the LG website, with the competition to run from 9am December 1 until midnight January 12, 2015 AEDST.
The winners will be notified on January 19, 2015.
