34% Of NBN Users Wish They Could Go Back

A survey of 958 NBN users reveals 34% wish they could revert back, with many respondents affirming their former internet connection was faster (10%) and more reliable (12%).

Conducted by finder.com.au, more than one third of respondents claim they were “better off” before, with many asserting their former internet service offered better overall value.

Leading the nation, 40% of VIC-based NBN users expressed a desire to switch back, followed by NSW (38%) and QLD (30%).

As previously reported, the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman’s latest half-year report revealed a record number of NBN-related complaints – 22,827 and a whopping 200% year-on-year jump.

14,000 officially submitted complaints concerned service quality, and 8,700 related to difficulties establishing a new connection.
