EXCLUSIVE: Lenovo Cut Deal With Officeworks

Currently Lenovo consumer products are only available at JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman with both retailers reporting record PC growth after the Lenovo brand was launched in Australia.

Richard Murray the CEO of JB Hi Fi said that Lenovo had become a “key partner” following their consumer launch in Australia in November 2014.

In February JB Hi Fi management said that premium notebook sales had grown by 40% following the launch of the Yoga Pro 3 and Yoga Pro 2 along with the Lenovo tablet range in their stores.

The Lenovo Officeworks products will be sold through a  network of more than 154 retail stores as well as online by the Wesfarmers owned retailer.
“After our successful launch into the Australian Consumer market with Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi late last year, we are excited about the opportunity to partner with Officeworks,” said Brendan Lau, Consumer Director, Lenovo Australia & New Zealand.
He added “Officeworks attracts a very unique type of shopper across broad market segments, which is a great fit for our brand as we are currently expanding our product portfolio of innovative devices which will appeal to a diverse range of customers.”
“We’re thrilled to be featuring Lenovo’s new range of notebooks, desktops and tablets in our stores and online, embarking on what we hope will be a long and successful partnership to continue to bring our customers the latest and greatest technology,” said Toby Watson, Head of Technology, Officeworks.
“There is a natural synergy between Lenovo and Officeworks as we’re both focused on providing Australians with unique products and solutions to benefit their lives – for their business, study endeavors or at home.”
A selected range of Lenovo notebooks, tablets, and desktops is now available in all Officeworks stores and online across Australia.
