Sony Launch Xperia XA1 Into Australian Market

First shown at this year’s MWC, Sony Mobile have now launched their mid-range Xperia XA1 into the local arena – revealing pricing and availability for the device.

“We’re thrilled to bring the new Xperia XA1 to Australia. The new 8MP front camera and 23mm wide-angle lens is a selfie lover’s dream,” said John Featherstone, Manager Director of Sony Mobile Communications, Oceania.

The new handset features a 23MP high resolution with a large 1/2.3” Exmor RS for mobile sensor, bright F2.0 lens and superior lowlight capability. It’s set to combine these photography assets and solid technical specs with a slim borderless edge-to-edge form factor.

“We’ve taken Sony’s digital camera expertise to deliver the leading rear and front cameras for the Xperia XA1. Its exceptional camera technology is perfectly suited to capture everyday spontaneous moments in the most convenient and user-friendly way. We know it will exceed expectations,” Featherstone said.

The Xperia XA1 will be available through JB Hi-Fi and Sony Mobile’s own online store from today at an RRP of $399.
