BenQ Launches High-Precision Photographic Monitor

BenQ have announced a new 4K monitor for photographers, featuring high-precision colour and HDR support.

The 31.5-inch SW320 monitor meets the strict colour accuracy standards for certification from Technicolor, with 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB colour space and 100% coverage of sRGB, Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 colour spaces.

“SW320 represents the pinnacle of BenQ colour-critical display technology,” said BenQ Corporation President Conway Lee.

“This wide colour gamut HDR monitor takes professional imaging to new heights, fulfilling the demanding and exacting requirements of photography enthusiasts.”

Photographers can take advantage of GamutDuo mode, which allows two colour spaces to be viewed side-by-side, and true 10-bit colour depth along with 14-bit 3D colour lookup tables guarantee absolute colour accuracy.

HDR support appeals to both photographers and video editors working with high dynamic range content, while convenient features like the Hotkey Puck for quick settings navigation as well as the pro shading hood for blocking light and glare ensure the SW320 will easily fit into the workflow of photographers.

BenQ’s SW320 Photographer Monitor is available now for RRP $1999.
