Since the M700 utilises Telstra's Next G network, one can experience download speeds of up to 500kbps to 3Mbps. And because the SIM card slot is built-in, users don't need to purchase a separate USB dongle or ExpressCard that they need to bring along with them all the time.

The notebook sports a fairly thick profile but is robust enough for outdoor use. It comes with a rotating hinge that transforms your notebook to a tablet and two latches at the sides that locks the screen into place.

The M700 uses an Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 (2.4GHz) processor, has 2GB RAM, 160GB of storage, and runs on Windows Vista Business. It also comes with Toshiba's Assist program to help users configure and troubleshoot their notebooks with ease, as well as various security functions to keep your files safe.
