Nokia-Siemens Networks has announced that it has reached a network expansion framework agreement with China Mobile, valued at $AUD901 million, according to Reuters.
Under the agreement, Nokia-Siemens Networks, which is a 50-50 joint venture between Nokia and Siemens, will assist China Mobile in planning, arranging and maintaining wireless and core networks as well as offering operation supporting system solution plans in major Chinese provinces and cities, according to the report.
The plan is designed to help China Mobile expand network capacity, and cut its expenditure.
