By Branko Miletic | Friday | 18/04/2008

Jacqueline Bergin from Ingram Micro said "we are excited to be able to offer a brand as strong as Canon and delighted to be able to provide some of the most leading technology from one of the leaders in the Digital Imaging Industry".

"Because of the rapid development in digital technology, new products are arriving more quickly that do more, are easier to use, and are available at lower prices, driving demand for digital devices from Australian consumers" Bergin said.

Based on the yearly increases experienced over the last four years Canon predicts Australians will spend over $6 billion on digital devices in 2008 despite a softening economy.

The Canon's range of products will be available through Ingram Micro from 1 May 2008.
