According to reports, life's not only good for South Korea's LG Display, but seems to be getting even better as the company will soon supply liquid crystal display panels to Apple for its iPod player, LG Display Chief Executive Young-Soo Kwon said.
"We will begin providing Apple with our 3.5-inch LCD panels to be used in iPods within the year," Kwon told South Korean journalists on Wednesday night.
He said LG Display is also in talks with Nokia Motorola and Sony Ericsson to supply them too with small LCDs used in mobile handsets.
"We expect to sign a supply contract with at least one of them this year," said the chief executive.
