A long time distributor of the Loewe brand in Australia International Dynamics is owned by long time industry executive Alex Encel who built the Loewe brand up to be one of the most popular luxury CRT TV brands in Australia.
It is believed that Loewe is set to move into Australia with an Australian subsidiary. Also on the horizon is the possibility that International Dynamics could take on the highly successful US TV brand Vizio to replace the loss of the Loewe brand.
The loss of the Klipsch and Synergy brands has been attributed to a decision by Klipsch to sell direct to Harvey Norman as opposed to being via a distributor.
Michael Lewis Marketing Manager at International Dynamics said "We have lost both the Klipsch and Synergy brands as well as the Loewe brands. We are told that Loewe is looking at forming a subsidiary in Australia to sell their own brand. We will be making an announcement soon on this loss. As for Klipsch we have become a victim of our own success with the Company deciding to cut out International Dynamics in favour of dealing direct with Harvey Norman".
It is believed that Harvey Norman pressured Klipsch to sell direct however no one at International Dynamics was available to comment on this.
