Following last week's PlayStation 3 firmware update 2.40 which rendered a few consoles completely useless, Sony has removed the upgrade and has now released a new and improved version.

Firmware version 2.41 is currently available for download, according to the company.
And unlike those nasty red-ring-of-death errors the Xbox 360 suffers from, the PlayStation errors on the PS3 were almost mild.
Regardless, Sony seems to think that version 2.41 will not cause any problems this second time around.
