Bing Lee Unleashes The Animal Within

By Branko Miletic | Tuesday | 24/06/2008

Bing Lee is continuing its support of Taronga Zoo?s conservation initiatives with the launch of the electrical retailer?s Threatened Wildlife Trail.

The trail, which guides visitors of the Zoo to several endangered animals, signals the start of Bing Lee Month, which will be celebrated throughout July at Taronga Zoo.

Bing Lee General Manager Phil Moujaes confirms Bing Lee is committed to taking a keen interest in the plight of vulnerable wildlife through their association with Taronga Zoo.

"The Bing Lee Threatened Wildlife Trail takes visitors on a journey to meet several endangered animals, describing their plight and encouraging people to support these creatures including Leopard Seals, Sumatran Tiger, Corroboree Frog, Tasmanian Devil and the Francois Langurs", said Moujaes.

"Bing Lee is proud to feature as part of Taronga Zoo's school holiday activity program and increasing awareness about animal conservation by encouraging visitors to discover more about these other threatened species throughout July. It compliments our major sponsorship and support of Taronga Zoo's endangered Francois' Langurs perfectly."
