Telarus Offers SMB Wireless Solution

By Branko Miletic | Tuesday | 03/06/2008

Telarus has partnered with Clever and announced a special offer for 8Mb/s premium fixed wireless access to provide Australian businesses high speed, high quality connectivity at what it claims is a very aggressive price.

With a monthly fee of AUD$999, businesses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and soon Perth, will receive a (1:1) 8Mb/s service that will support business applications such as VoIP, Video, Citrix and Terminal Services.

This will enable Telarus customers to effectively double their access speed, whilst paying less than they would for a 4Mb/s uncontended (1:1) SHDSL connection.

To maximise business uptime, customers can also sign up for the optional DSL service (ADSL2+MAX or ADSL MAX) for an additional AUD$99 per month. Leveraging Telarus' Cisco-based Next Generation Network (NGN) and through the use of a Cisco 1841 router at the client side, Telarus will configure the solution such that network traffic automatically fails over to the DSL service in an event of a disruption to the wireless service.

For further peace of mind, customers can expect 24x7 technical support in relation to this offer, as is standard for the vast majority of services from Telarus.

The special offer for 8Mb/s services is available until the end of June 2008.
