Sex In The City Just A Phone Call Away

By Branko Miletic | Wednesday | 20/08/2008

It looks like LG just cant get enough of US actor Chris Noth, who currently is (still) gracing the streets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as the face of LG Electronics and its latest mobile marketing campaign.

So after dragging out Mr. Big for its last mobile phone launch in Australia, and what the company says is "keeping in line with LG's current brand identity", Noth's cavalier Sex and The City character Mr. Big, will feature in advertisements with a grinning Noth and the tagline, "Finally, something I can commit to."

According to LG's Carli Wilson, Marketing Manager Mobile Communications, "the campaign showcases LG's focus on stylish design supported by smart technology".

Furthermore she notes that, "In partnering with Chris Noth we take this approach a step further. His endorsement in Australia and New Zealand reflects the growing popularity of our handsets to a broad yet discerning audience"

LG says it will also launch the ?LG Big Bus' this September. Hijacking several peak CBD bus routes across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane until November, the Big Bus will be free to passengers and on board they will experience LG Mobile demonstrations and receive promotional gift bags.
