Sony Pulls The Plug On PS3 Firmware Upgrade User Complaints
PS3 users who downloaded and installed the new 2.40 version of the Sony firmware upgrade are complaining that their consoles are hanging when being rebooted. As a result, Sony has canned the upgrade and removed it from their site according to a company announcement.

Sony?s firmware 2.40 has been recalled after it caused PS3?s to stop working properly when users installed the new update, according to a report out of informationweek.com.
