The company has also launched four new LCD television ranges including Series 4, 5, 6 and 7, as well as a new Series 4, 5 and Series 6 Plasma range.

Samsung Australia's Senior Product Manager, Evan Manolis said, "As a pioneer in the AV market, Samsung will leverage our technological and product strengths to deliver the ultimate home entertainment experience to consumers. We will strive to make further inroads into the industry by reinforcing our success in LCD TVs, while tapping into the immense potential of the Home Theatre and AV gadgets markets."

The Samsung Series 6 and 7 LCD TVs incorporates a revolutionary Crystal Design; a unique motif that owes its inspiration to the beauty of blown glass art. The design inspired by the automotive and fashion industries, featuring a hint of amber colour naturally blended into Samsung's piano black bezel frame for a clean, smooth finish. The Series 6 and 7 LCD TVs will be introduced in Australia in June 2008.
